Response to "Faceless on Facebook"

In the essay "Faceless on Facebook" Kate Beals rambles on about making a facebook profile. It's pretty sad when a person practically gets anxiety over something as simple as facebook. Who cares if you even fill out the "about me" section. If you only add people you know, then they already know about you. However, you might need to watch the things you post, because it can portray you in a way you don't want people to look at you. Some people post all kinds of things without thinking, for example inappropriate pictures and other things of the sort. Kate Beals definitely put way too much thought into something so simple.

  1. I agree that people put way to much thought into Facebook. i mean who really cares how many friends you have on Facebook and who cares what so and so is doing at 3am in the morning. I also agree that you have to be careful what you post because now days when you apply for a job they often ask to look at your Facebook to see just what kind of person you really are!!!!
